Stuck, help plz.
My snake has crawled into an impossible place to get him out of. He made his way into the space between an office chair and the fixture underneath it that holds it up. Very worried about his breathing and scales being damaged. Any suggestions on removing a snake from a place you cannot access yourself?

No, it's happening right now. We don't have anything available (foodwise) to lure him out. Feeeling like bad parents. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't disassemble the chair, I'd recommend placing it in a secure room such as a bathroom or closet. Then place a heat source like an UTH and a couple of hides along with a bowl of water. Sooner or later he will come out, but it could take anywhere from a couple hours to a few days.
Good luck!

Re: Stuck, help plz.
phew, thanks for the advice.
we almost stripped the bolts trying to remove our BP from the chair fixture, so that obviously wasn't going to work.
so, we took a cue from Snakey's usual behavior and just shut the lights and covered the chair with a blanket...he loves to explore the folds of fabric to find new places to hide.
anyhow, he finally crawled his way out, and we are taking turns handling him to reassure him that everything is okay.
such an intrepid explorer. we're so glad he is well.

I'm glad everything worked out! They do get into some tight spots if given the opportunity. It depends on the snake, though, as some will look for places to hide immediately and others just want to explore.
