    Central American Boa?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me determine the locale of this Boa I aquired yesterday, I was told by a pet store that it is a Central American:

Looks CA to me. Almost like a nic influence with the circle back!! Very cool guy. How big is he?

I'd say between 5 and 6 feet, haven't measured him yet. It is a male, though.

It definately is a Central American Boa ! Looks exactly like my male. If it has a pinkish belly than you can be sure the pet store was right .

I'm not going to bother him right now seeing as I just fed him, but now that you mention it, I think he did have a pinkish belly... much like that of my male ball python when he is about to shed.

Looks like he has a nice girth for his length. Nice and muscular

Yeah he is pretty heavy and muscular. Now that I know he is a CA, does anyone know a good place to get him a big female?

I would suggest that you contact Gus Rentfro at Rio Bravo Reptiles and e-mail him a pic ( or link to this thread). He beeds lot's of different CA locales and can probably put a pretty fine point on where that snake is from.
