I use a human heat pad and it comes with it's own little rheostat that says high,medium,low. I put it on medium and use the dimmer switch to control it. My question is, does the dimmer control the heat pad, or just the light in the rheostat thing?

Ok, the only reason I used them was because alot of people use to recommend human heat pads on this site when I use to come alot.

Whoa; I remember "back in the day" a few years ago, whn we were all using human heatpads! It seems like it was such a fire hazard; don't think they're meant to be on all the time.
I think they got "phased out" gradually, but I am not sure when. Now Flexwatt is the thing.
