    weezing sounds?

my snake has been making weezing sound after he eats.I don't think it's a upper respitory infection because,he breathes normal the rest of the time.

What are your temps? Is he going into a shed maybe? How old is this snake and how long have you had him? I have had them hiss at me after eating but never a weezing noise.

Your hot spot is only 83? Needs to be at least 90 in the hotspot, you might have a sick snake.See if you can get a look in his mouth. If you can and you see mucus you need to get him to a vet.A little bit of slime is ok but if its thick and gunky you have a snake with URI.

83F won't cut it for a hot spot, what is the cool spot temp? If he is spending time in the cool spot then you are asking for trouble!~!
