julius refusing meal
it has been almost 5 days since julius ate - and she usually eats every 3 days.. i tried offering her f/t last night and she wouldnt have it.
i tried feeding her a live mouse this morning and this evening and she refused both of those
any idea why she might be refusing meals? its really worrying me - and yes i know they can go a long time without feeding, i just dont want that at this age - especially since she is only 6 or 7 weeks old

Re: julius refusing meal
You're feeding her too often, most likely. I only feed my babies once a week. It might "seem" like a good idea to feed her more often, but she's clearly telling you she doesn't need it that often. AND, it's got to be very stressful on her digestive system to always be in a state of digestion.

Re: julius refusing meal
Listen to Robin, she hit the nail on the head. Your snake probably is not hungry after just eating a meal, and it is probably stressed from you offering food so often, especially two days in a row. Sit back and relax, your little buddy will eat when it's ready, probably once a week.

Yup, too often. It's digestive system probably isn't getting the break it needs.
