Best roller coaster?
Rick and I have been chatting about the newest roller coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain, reminscing about the last time we went (which was 2 years ago =P), the new coaster at the time, X, and what they've got now.
Which got me thinking...what do you consider the best roller coaster you've ever been on and why? Got any good roller coaster stories? =) Let's hear'em!

I have to say I have two favorites. One is X at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The ride is not really describable. It's not a "screamer", but rather the smoothest and most physically comfortable coaster I've ever been on. So smooth and fluid; the way the cars move, you rarely see the track nor other cars around you, so you really feel like you are flying by yourself. The seats are comfortable and the motion is so smooth, you are never "thrown" side to side, backward or forwards. While they call it X to mean Xtreme, I really think it's more like X as in Xtasy, as weird as that sounds.
But my all time favorite is still The Beast at King's Island outside of Cincinnati. Rawr! Rock and roller, slam-bam, thank you ma'am! Still the world's longest all-wooden coaster, still going after all these years....how about that for scary?! =D
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)

Cass. Do you waive your hands around all crazy and scream???
I think for me it was The Rattler at Six Flags in Texas. It's wooden and super loose and falling apart feeling. The fact that it sounds and feels like it will fall apart right under you is what scared me the most. Although I am a big scaredy baby to begin with

Re: Best roller coaster?
I couldn't really pick a favorite, I like different aspects of different coasters.
I really like hanging coasters a lot, so here at Six Flags Over Arlington I like Batman a lot. But then I like Mr. Freeze because it jets you out the tunnel superfast. And Titan rocks because it's sooooooo tall and fast.
One of these days I want to go to Cedar Point and ride all their cool coasters.
