Handling question
I was wondering if handling a ball in the day is better than handling them at night, or vice versa. I know they are nocturnal, and my ball is more active during the night, so I've been taking him out in the evenings. I also know that I wouldnt want to be picked up when I'm sleeping, so my bet is that handling at night is the best. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Handling question
They're more likely to be active if you handle at night, but it won't harm them to handle during the day either.

Re: Handling question
We usually try to wait until we see either of our snakes poke her head out of a hide, or being a little active, so mid to late evenings is when that happens...
Although on Sunday, we handled and then fed Cleo late afternoon since we had her out already to clean her tank; we decided to go ahead weigh/fed/etc. after putting her back in so we wouldn't pester her again later that day. She had that "Wha-what are you doing? I was sleeeeping! *yawn*" attitude when we first got her out, hehe...
0.1 ball python (Cleo), 0.1 surinam bcc (Carmen)
1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)
1.0 cat (Nicky), some mooses and ratters, 1.0 hubby (Rick)
