And why, I ask, do I INSIST on going to Petco...? If someone can explain me this, I won't go bonkers

I was in Petco this past weekend getting Bed-A-Beast for Murphy, and saw that they had very nice-sized Cresteds... So I look a little closer... And there is a female, bigger than all of the obvious males around her(3 others), and still had no "cresticles". I was in a hurry, so I bought the BAB and left.

I went back today and all 4 were still there. I asked a Petco employee of death to get her out for me so I could examine her closer and, low and behold, still no crestie bulges. Well, hallelujah...

So... I now have myself a nice cream and orange flame dalmation(red and black spots) female(BIG subadult) with some good-sized crests. A bit(teensy bit) of pinstriping too

Sorry for the graphically poor pictures. I wanted to be quick so as to not stress her and make her drop her tail. She's in a tub right now, moistened sphagnum peat moss as substrate, a vine with fake pothos wrapped around it, and a shallow waterdish. Her health seems good, very thick tail, no signs of deficiency that I can tell.
