Robin has graciously offered to sell us one of her lovely female BP's. She's been called Skye but of course we had to name her some odd celtic name so she fits in with the other BP's around here. So here she is....Ailish...pronounced ay-lish which is a form of Elizabeth so she's named after one of our daughters Elizabeth (Bethie)....her name means "god is my oath".

Mike and I couldn't be more pleased to add Ailish to our breeding colony and look forward to years with this lovely female. She should be coming home to us in another couple of weeks.

Yep she's done very well with Robin but then Robin gives her collection such excellent care. She is a mouse eater so we'll be working with her to transfer her over to rats like the rest of the collection eats but we do have a pet store close by that has live feeder mice so that's not a problem if she's a tad stubborn on that issue at first. She's so pretty, a really nice size, a good solid feeder and Robin tells me she's got a bit of attitude so a just perfect snake in my mind LOL.

Oh and she's got the spot on her neck stripe like Mal does...just noticed that LOL. I will now of course be producing the very rare and HIGHLY expensive..."cute spot on neck stripe" ball python. You may of course pre-order LOL.

Yup, she's really calmed down, but still has a bit of piss & vinegar in her! Here's a baby picture of her, right before she got confused and thought she was a rattler (shaking that tail furiously and striking at the camera)

Nice lookin' BP you got there. I like the pattern too. Some parts of it kinda remind me of a lava lamp.
