Blackbacked granite female
I got this little girl from a breeder at a show. She is a CH and had only had maybe 1 or 2 meals when I got her, but she did have some size on her. I did a trade with a friend of mine(Earthtones Reptiles) who I got my Rosy Boa from(gave Dillinger back because of his attitude), and used that credit to help me buy two of the females from another breeder at the show. This girl's sister/clutchmate/delicup buddy, went to live with a friend of mine. This little girl is just ORANGE and yellow and she is getting more and more blushing. She doesn't have a name, so I need a bit of help thinking of one. She's very fiery, likes to puff up and hiss, but eats like it's going out of style(two hoppers last feeding).
Here are a few pictures of her:

She's lovely, and an attitude to boot.

Nice! I keep seeing Granite and Black Back for sale, I know what they mean but is it genetic or just a cool pattern?

Re: Blackbacked granite female
Sometimes it's just nice patterning and sometimes it's genetic. Only way to find out is to breed the snake and see if the traits are inheritable.
