I knew those online adoption things were shady, but I didn't know they actually shipped them to you in boxes?!

Nah, they're usually pretty mellow. Just have the cage ready to go and all warmed up. Move slowly, place him in the cage, and forget about him for a 1-2 weeks. I know... easier said than done.

    Re: Temperment after shipment

I'm guessing it depends on a few variables...1) The temperment of the snake itself...2) How well it was packed....and 3) Any extreme environmental conditions it may have been exposed to.

Of course, if it was packed well and shipped properly, environmental extremes shouldn't be an issue. When I opened up Kisasa's box, she came out without a hiss or anything, just curled around my fingers and "sniffed" at her new home.

Coming from Daniel he will probably bite your hand and then proceed to pee on your wound

    Re: Temperment after shipment

All the snakes I have had shipped to me were very mellow out of the box.. just wait the week until they're settled in, then they very well may be nasty! lol
