    New...

    Hello.

I just recently got a ball python.. aproximately about two weeks ago. Actually it was more of a gift from my boyfriend. He also has one that's about a year old. They used to share tanks for a while; kept them separated when they were fed. I wasn't really taking care of it at the moment, but now I'm sitting for a week.

Well, that's Steve. =P He's pretty active and friendly. He's about three months old. Hmm well my photography skills lack a bit, but I can work on that. [darn camera] First time we fed him he had some trouble though. Took quite a while to eat the fuzzie, but he got the hang of it. I don't think he was quite hungry, so maybe that was the thing. I just fed him a couple of days ago and did great.

I went to the Flea Market today and happen to run into one of those stands were they try to sell you pets. I saw some ball pythons in horrible shape. Some of the tanks had sheddings all over, some of them were inside the water dish (which I read that they shouldn't be) also crowded. I was a little sad about it, but what can you do...

    to you and Steve.

Remember that when you purchase those animals in horrible condiitons, you are supporting that individual. Who will only replace it with another animal. I recommend only spending your money with people who actually take care of their animals. Those are the people you want to support.
