The day from hell

Today I took my oldest daughter to the airport to go on her trip to her grandparents and was only allowed to take her to the terminal entrance. So I said my good byes and went out back home to get ready for my trip in a couple of days. ( my trip got delayed due to airport stupidity) well all was fine and I was almost home when I get a crazed call from my mother who said there had been a bomb threat at dublin airport and that they had closed down the airport like 15 minutes after I had dropped off my daughter. I nearly died right there. I got home and tried ringing the airport to make sure she had caught her flight and was told I wasnt allowed that info Her own mother not allowed to know of her welfare.................dont get me started. I was actually rushed to hospital for a serious panic attack that had my heart racing at 197 beats a minute. Just got a call from my mother finally after all this to say she arrived in chicago safe but scared, and that they had to get another flight home as due to the bomb threat her plane had been delayed 3 hours.

So here i am now at 2 am in the morning finally knowing she is safe, and only feeling the bitterness of the way i was treated by the airline and airport staff over this. I have drafted 3 letters of formal complaint to the airport, airline, and one to my lawyer to take further, over this Because no mother should be made to feel like I was.

Please pray for my sanity and for my to be able to make my trip and the patience to suffer those fools. Because all I want to do now is give those men a slow waxing of their short and curlies while slowly removing their toe nails, so they can understand the pain they have put me thru. (sorry for the sadistic side of me coming out But they deserve it)

OMG! I'm surprised you didn't have a heart attack. I know I would have flipped.

I'm glad that your daughter is safe. I know when we had a tornado warning, and my son was still in school I was completely freaked. It's terrifying to think of any harm coming to your child.

I'm very glad to hear that she is safe and sound and where she's supposed to be. I would have been terrified! I truly hope your letters hit precisely where they're aimed and have all the effect you intend. That is just NOT right!

Thank God your daughter is ok.
Im so sorry you went thru all of that, you must have been completely frantic. I must say, in that situation, I wouldnt have been going to the hospital. Most likely Id be going to jail for having executed all of your sadistic tortures to the airline employees, as well as a few other torturous acts I can think of..
