What do you all think of this boy?

He's a Poss Super Salmon from Rich at Salmon Boas. Great group of guys over there! John gave us a real steal of a deal on this boy and we just couldn't resist!

Wow....that's one crazy lookin' boa! But what does "Poss Super Salmon" mean? Does that mean he's homozygous for Salmon, but they're not sure if there's a "super" form? Or that the "Super" form looks no different from the "regular" such as in BP Spiders, so you won't know he's homo until he breeds and throws all salmons?

looking great. possiable super salmon means there is a posiability that he could be a super salmon. witch means that no matter what you breed him to all the babies come out salmons. if he proves out supers are worth big $$$$$

So the "super" form of salmon is not a visible trait like the bp's super-pastel. That's what I was wondering, thanks. I hope he proves out for you, Gerry!! He's a gorgeous snake, either way!

Thanks, Matt is correct on the Super definition.



It is based on a Salmon X Salmon breeding, about 25% of the litter may be Supers.



This boy's parents were Super Salmon X Poss Super Salmon, so he has a bit more chances of being a Super. I also like is pattern and cleanliness, very few speckling. We hope/plan on replacing our Hypos next year with higher grade Salmons.

how big is he and how big will he get?

He's about 24"-26" and I won't let him get any bigger than 5ft - 5.5ft.

ya i get it, you won't feed him much so he stays small - don't necc. agree with that practise, but it's your snake - not mine

he sure is beautiful though. really beautiful. i loooove the colouring!
