venigar and water

Is it true that a venigar / water sollution is good for cleaning/wiping tubs out? If i was to use it, are there any precautions i should take?

I use vinegar and water regularily to clean a lot of things around my house including the snake tubs. You can use a strength of 1 part regular white vinegar to 1 part water (that's very strong so feel free to cut the vinegar back a bit if you like). Just rinse very well and air out until you cannot smell any vinegar residue. Just remember that vinegar is a good sanitizer and may have some antibacterial qualities to it but it isn't a disinfectant (actually just washing out your cage is cleaning not disinfecting anyways but just to be clear on what vinegar can and cannot do).

I usually use a very weak bleach solution. I was a bit excited seeing that vinegar/water could be used, as I love the smell of vinegar (and bleach smells revolting) but I think I'll stick to icky bleach for now.
I remember I used to work at a convent, in their cafeteria, and we used vinegar for mopping; seems like things were always sparkling clean there.
