    BCI acting a little weird..

I have noticed the past few nights, that my BCI will be out of his hide, coiled like he is about to strike at food, for seemingly no reason. Well, his cage is by the front door, and also by the front window that looks out to the front porch. A ton of birds are always out there landing on the railings, etc. I wonder, if he is seeing them and thinking "I wanna eat you!" ?
I am rearranging some stuff today so that this doesn't keep on happening; I don't want him on Red Alert all the time.

Re: BCI acting a little weird..

Not sure Gin. All I can say when Rauri our foster BCI was in a high traffic area of our house he did sometimes react strongly to passing things, especially if it was something quick moving. He also used to go out on our enclosed porch and would stare with evil snakey intent at the squirrels flitting around our front yard. I think given half a chance Rauri would have happily tried to have squirrel for dinner LOL.

lol, I could def. see that.
Apache's feeding response is stronger than strong. He would eat a ten year old mummified rat if I wiggled it around a little in front of him.

I always joke that if I slapped some fur on a pork chop Rauri would hit it like a freight train LOL (just kidding folks for goodness sakes do NOT feed pork chops to snakes )
