    Not eating :\

Gone through two fuzzies now, but Gizmo isn't eating. He looks thinner than what I got him. Is there anyway to force feed?

Has your vet recommended that you force feed? Sounds like you've only tried two times so far to feed. How about trying a live hopper in about a week?

Thats what i'm giving him. Live fuzzies, before I got him the guy I got him from was feeding him live so I dunno what the problem is.

And no, I don't have a vet. I was just asking if theres force feeding for snakes. And this fuzzy is jumpy as hell.

How long have you had him? Not long right? I believe Adam stated in another post that in 25 years of keeping ball pythons, he's never force fed any of his. He doesn't begin to get concerned until at least 16 weeks of not eating. Has yours gone that long?

2 weeks is no reason to worry. Keep your husbandry spot on and he will eat for you. Adam has some tips on his site for difficult feeders. I suggest you check it out. Good luck!

Ill try that again. Make sure your husbandry is spot on (dead on, accurate, the way its supposed to be). Warm side 92-94, cool side 82-84, hides on both sides.

Leave it in. Ball Pythons are ambush hunters. They will feel more secure and absolutely will find the fuzzy. Fuzzies dont hide very well anyway since their eyes usually aren't open yet
