Are there any collections agencies nearby? I only ask because, i was at a loss as to where to apply in the town we are closest to (was tired of going all the way to Buffalo for a PT job) and I have now been at this job since November, and it pays much better than fast food or retail. No college education required (although it could help you advance faster.) And if you hate collecting (like I did) you could go on to either an IT, support, or payment-processing-type stuff like I do.
