Well I have found that the mice at the local petstores are sick with something, i thought it was Myco at first but I dont have the necropsy results back on the mice I left with vet. They were all skin and bones, there hair was curled at the tips and they had bald spots with some crusty stuff along with sneezing, runny noses, and they stoped eating. I'm not feeding that to my babies!

Hamsters to me are cheaper in the long run, they have no problems breeding and from what I have heard (correct me if Im wrong) have more nutrents then mice.
