    My decision...

I was thinking of purchasing my first morph this year; wanted an albino, looked at pastels, etc. But I have decided to go with something cheaper, yet different; I want to look into Reduceds. I already have a spotless female and I want to get one male with no spots, and see if she/it could be genetic. I saw no the RDR website, regarding Reduceds, that his were genetic; I just have this thing for BPs without the alien head pattern; large flat areas of spotlessness
And I just got a "'settlement;" a good friend of mine came into money and paid me back the $$ she owed me I would love to get a more expensive morph, but I am being responsible here; got several credit cards I want to keep in good standing, building up my credit to eventually buy a house with my man. So that's the update on the home front

reduced are cool looking, i would call ralph up and ask him about his reduced snakes. the vast majority of the ones you see for sale, most likely are not genetic. if you just want a cool looking reduced snake and the genetics doesn't matter, there are plenty of them out there to choose from.

    Re: My decision...

I wuold rather get something that's genetic. I am actually looking into some of the other "poor man's morphs" suchas blackbacks; I would love a BB with reducedness to it. I have been working hard lately and want to reward myself with one more BP (isn't that what we all say lol.)

    Re: My decision...

Or a het albino male! If you've got more time than money, then you could grab a het albino male and breed it to your already breedable females, and keep the females from the resulting clutches... 3 years... and bam... albinos for an orriginal $150 investment. Not too horrible.

Oh... and I happen to know someone that has a het albino male or two available if you need the references. hint hint...

    Re: My decision...

Ginevive, i know the fealling. I am trying to decide wether i should get a pair of Het's or just 2 Normal Females. The hets are better investment thats for sure. If i was in your shoes, i would get a morph. I know if i had already successfully breed a pair of normals i would get a morph for sure. I have yet to breed any BP's yet, so i am a few yrs behind you.
