    Stomach bug - blech!!!!

Man, I hate stomach bugs, they really know how to kick your butt!

I was telling Karl that I was feeling a little wonky last night, and then about 12:30, the porcelean goddess and I became very close friends for the next few hours! LOL

Dummy me, not wanting to burn my last PTO day, crawled into work at 6 this morning and was promptly sent home at 8 and told I'd only have to use 1/2 a day since I came in. Three other people apparently called out today with the same thing.

So, I crawled between the comforter and sheets where I've not moved until just now.

The timing stinks too! The girls come tomorrow and I was so looking forward to the "night before anticipation" and obsessive tracking them on UPS (I had tomorrow scheduled off already). Now I'm like ....woo - the girls are coming...zzzzzzz.

But, I haven't had to make a sacrifice to the goddess since I got home, so that's a good thing!

Thanks Chris - never tried ginger - but that would involve actually getting into the car and going to the store.

It's feeling like it's starting to go away, I was able to keep down 1/2 a bowl of chicken noodle soup and some Saltines around 11, before I crawled in bed.

Now I just have no energy. I'll look around at something that needs to be picked up about 2 feet away from me and go - just..don't..have..the..energy....not..worth..it! LOL

I guess the good thing about the long nap - I won't be sleepy tonight if I start feeling better and want to start tracking the girls!

The ginger works like a champion for me. Within seconds I feel fine. You should crack the whip on your mantoy and get him to fetch you some. It can be found dried and candied at most "health" type places. You only need a tiny bit.
