    BP egg incubation question

At what temperature can bp eggs be damaged? My eggs dropped to about 78-80 degrees for about 12 hours after the female layed them. Should I be concerned? I know that the optimal temp is about 89 degree.

    Re: BP egg incubation question

I would think that your eggs would be okay, so long as you have them incubating at the right temp now. Ball eggs are pretty resilient, and can withstand more than most people give them credit for. All you can do is set them in the incubator and keep an eye on them and see how they do from here on out. I would say that if you make it to two weeks with no negative effects, tou are probably going to be okay. Hope that helps,

Thanks for the information. I figured that they should be OK, but this is only my second clutch of BP eggs so I am a little paranoid.
