Re: Rusty Reptile residents...
Rusty, that is an amazing zoo you have there! Do you allow visitors? If I'm ever near that end of the country, I would SO love to meet you and see your critters!

The Lace Monitor was a refugee from a three year long animal cruelty case which in the end had the Long Island Reptile Museum shut down. The Lace was struck in the head and now has nuerological problems. She gets through life ok and seems to still have a good quality life.

Hi Wolfy,
Yes we definatly adopt our guys out..lol Could you just imagine if we didn't. I don't even want to think about it..lol
Sadly we do not ship. That is a pretty big obstacle for us and I am slowly realizing that we might have to start.
Thanks

We are located in Manchester, CT. East of Hartford.
Anyone is allowed by, just try and give me a call to let us know you're coming. You have to remember the rescue is also our home.
You would be amazed at the times people (strangers) have just showed up on our doorstep. Some pretty enibriated (sp?) wanting to come over just to see a big snake or so on.
Remember I have a six year old and a wonderfull husband who on some days isn't doing to well health wise.
But as long as everyone can understand and respect this, I have no problem with people coming over.
Anytime,
Rusty
