    Albino's?

I know morphs would be more, but what about albinos? What would be the average price range? Like I got my normal for $29. Not an exact, but an average. And where?

you might want to look on kingsnake.com to get an idea of price range and to see who has them available. of course there are many good breeders that you may not see advertising there, but you can at least get a feel for things by looking around there.

Albinos i have seen average around $2000 for either sex. You might find some lower or some higher.

Just for clarification, an albino IS a morph. The least expensive morph you are going to find is a pastel male which can be had as a baby for $400 on up.

    Cool Re: Albino's?

Currently on Kingsnake.com there are Albino BPs going for $1,445.00 up to $3,400.00. Remember that age and sex are more or less the determining factor on final price.

Personally I can not believe how cheap they are selling 2006 Males for: $1,445.00!!!! When I purchased my het for high contrast albino pair (two separate NERD bloodlines) any albino was no cheaper than $3K.

All this shady salesmanship is killing BP sales. "Got to move it quick, money problems at home, my dog stubbed his toe, my car needs tires!" Everyone seems to have a lame ass excuse why they are cut throat pricing these gorgeous animals. They are worth what they where getting for them last year. I don't know and apologize if I pissed anyone off. Sorry it
just kills me knowing my hets have a couple years to grow yet and
By the time they are primed, albinos will be probably $250.00 because someone needs a new barbecue! I just do not want to see them turn into the next pet store fad like the albino Burmese did.

    Aaaah Just my $0.02

Again I apologize for being cynical but I am here for the BPs not for money. The sales of any of my albinos that I receive from the BP Gods would just fund new caging and feeding supplies. As well as acquiring new morphs for my collection. I enjoy handling, feeding and yes even cleaning all of my assorted reptiles. I Love Ball Python breeding for the art it is, not for the money it could make you. Everyone says "Nothing like cleaning up poop from an animal that you do not enjoy"

    SORRY AGAIN FOR THE RANT

It is too early on a Sunday to be talking BP Politics

    Re: Albino's?

Well I personally have only seen 1 person list albinos at that price, so that doesn't mean that is the new market price.

    Re: Albino's?

I don't think the price will go down that much at all.If you look back the first Albino's were sold for $8,000 dollar's. I believe it's been 12 year's on the market and their still 2g's ,that's a $500 dollar drop per year give or take.I'm in the same boat I will be selling offspring to aquire other morph's.

    Cool Re: Albino's?

At least I know the three of you are the real deal. I care a lot more about my snakes than my wallet. BUT, I would love to acquire a spider, clown, platty so on and so forth. I will NEVER have that much cash flow to spend on a BP. I think the "wild/normal" BPs are BEAUTIFUL TOO! But again the shady people out there are not going to stop me from pursuing my dreams of higher end morphs. So far the albinos and pastels are satisfying my BP appetite. Thanks again guys for the support and I know you will always be there. I wish I started these forums like 6 years ago when I got into BP hardcore. If I knew then what I know now, I might have gone farther in the BP realm by this time in my life.

LOL, good luck ladies and gents in the future!!!

    Godspeed

    Re: Albino's?

I love how everyone "is in it for the snakes" but the same people are always whining about the return on their "investment".
