    Try this feeding thing again...

So I got Sebastian on May 13th. He had last eaten around May 6th. I tried to feed him a live baby rat on May 20th - no go just ignored it. I tried a mouse on the May 27th - no go, just ignored it. Hopefully since he has shed he will be hungry tonight!

I went out and got another rat pup, stuck it in a container and put it next to his tub. When it gets dark out tonight, I'll put the rat pup in with him. Hopefully he is hungry!

    *crosses fingers*

Anyone else have any tips that could help him eat?

whatever he ate on the 6th of may, feed him that again. make double sure the temps are correct. make sure babies have hides to use. feed at night when it is quite and dark, pre-scent the room/area first with the rodent for about 15-30 min. feed in the cage/tub, that's all off the top of my head. imo, temps is the most important thing to consistant feeding bp's

Try putting the rat pup in an empty toilet roll tube, park the entrance of the tube right outside of the entrance of the hide his little head is poking out of.

Leave them alone, in a dark, quiet room & hopefully he will feed. If he is anything like Deebo - he is very secretive as far as feeding goes..

Well it worked for me once anyway & anything is worth a try for a non feeder!

I have just thought, you guys feed live dont you ? Im not sure if this tip would work as I have used this with F/T mice..
