    Hi, I'm new

Hi, I'm new here. Rabernet showed me this site. I don't have a bp of my own yet but expect to get one as an early christmas gift from my parents (obviously, I will supervise the purchase of everything required and set up his/her enclosure at least a week before the actual bp arrives). I've been learning about bps for almost a year now and am looking forward to getting one of my own. Thanks in advance for all your support and advice. All questions are welcomed.

    Re: Hi, I'm new

I was thinking of getting a pastel, they get them in down at my local pet store a lot. I would also love to have a jungle, but they're a bit out of my price range.

Pastels and Jungles are "usually" the same thing ... The technical name of the morph is "Pastel Jungle" which was named as such because of the similar apprearance to the classic "Jungle" which is most likely not a genetically reproducible trait.

Pastel Jungles aka "Pastels" are a great starter mutation ... I've yet to see them in pet stores, but one can be had from a good breeder for a reasonable price as far as morphs go.

Here is a pic of my favorite pastel .. she's due to lay eggs sired by a spider any day now ....

and a lemon pastel hatchling from 05

    Hope this helps!

Seriously...I hope you send sunglasses along when shipping pastels to your customers.

Welcome aboard! Adam is one of our bp.net breeders-in-residence and is one of the many breeders here who have great animals for sale. If you are serious about getting a mutation or morph ball python, or even just a normal, we do recommend purchasing the animal from a breeder as you know that you will be getting a top quality and healthy animal, and if you purchase from someone like Adam, he'll be there for you if you have any questions or problems, just as I think any of the breeders would who post here on bplnet.

Do I get a prize or an amazing run-on sentence? Gold star for the day please!

1.0 sunglow motley corn (Jenson), 1.0 albino burmese (Lourdes)

LOL ... How about a star for being a super nice person? Thank you.

Like Cassandra said, you can't go wrong with any of the breeders/keepers that contribute to this forum and have animals for sale ... we have an amazing group of people on this site.
