If your windows are open at least cover the upper part well to keep the heat from the window glass heating up the room more, get a cross current going in the room if possible. Cut off all lights in the room you don't absolutely need. You would be surprised how much heat comes from an overhead light. If you use ice to cool make sure there is a subtrate or other barrier between the animals & the ice to prevent them getting overly chilled. Preferably only one end of the enclosure. Warm blooded animals can have the ice right next to them with no harm.
