Never feed while under the influence.........
OK IM stupid i guess...........lol I have an abcess on my wisdom tooth ( might be my problem....no wisdom.......lol) and today the doctor put my on hefty pain meds to help with the pain. Wel lI went in as today is feeding day for the snakes and had to concentrate very hard on what i was doing. The last one was a nice big juicy rat for my female BRB who is nearly 6 foot. well I guess she sensed i wasnt doing well and decided to tag me. got the rat after but gave me a wake up you silly person I want my food tag and ate. Not much damage just a wake up call. Will have to get a friend to feed next week......lol

Re: Never feed while under the influence.........
had my wisdom teeth and a broken tooth removed all at once. oWWWW i was so out of it! I couldnt even feed myself, kept missing my mouth (it was only a smoothy) and i even went to the wrong car on the way out...tried getting the door open...hahah it was pretty bad.
sorry to hear about your love tap. I bet your snake is so used to routine it could tell something was off and unlike the usual.

Re: Never feed while under the influence.........
Oh ow and I mean the wisdom tooth not the tag which I bet wasn't much of anything compared to that toothache. I let my wisdom teeth get so impacted (because of a stupid fear of the dentist) that they ended up having to hospitalize me to extract all 4 at once. Then I still ended up back in emerg days later when again from my own stupidity I decided I must scrub my floor and managed to pop half my stitching out. Personally I think the heavy pain meds had something to do with my stupidity there but it may just have been me LOL.

Owww! Sorry about the tag, but yeah, I bet it didn't hurt much after the meds you were taking for the tooth.
As for the other question, I still have all 4 of mine and as long as they stay healthy, I can keep 'em, but I have to be VERY diligent on cleaning or they could get impacted and have to be taken out. I've had them since I was 16, and so far the only one in my family to have them still in my jaw. ha ha ha
