Oh Fiona I'm sorry I missed this thread! He (or she) is a lovely corn, scars or not. Our Orlah carries scars from explosure to an unprotected heat source too but she's just fine and I'm sure Jake will be too in time. A few scars is nothing really. He's in a wonderful home now and I know he'll be loved and cared for with you and your hubby.
