Hi and welcome aboard!!!
Housing size if using a viv is usually 10 gallon when small to 30 gallon when adult. You may want to consider a t-stat to control you temps or a dimmer at the least. The hides should be identical on each side. When shedding they will either rub against themselves or on there hides, if you are going to put other wood in the viv make sure it's not pine or cedar as they are toxic to BP's. Feeding should be done every 5-7 days when young to sub adult and every 10-14 days when adult. Feed an appropriate sized mouse/rat that is about the same size as the biggest part of the snake. You can pop BP's but it is not always correct I prefer probing to be sure. When getting a hatchling you want to make sure it's feeding and has shed. Everthing else you wrote looks good, here is a care sheet in case I forgot something.
