I have 2 BP's, I've had 1 about 2 years 7 m and the other about 2y1

My older one Stripe, was out the first winter and hid the last two, but my other Bp is active all year. Stripe alsow doesn't eat in the winter, but has a hearty appetite the rest of the time.

Same temp all year like you,lights are 12on/12off all year. Like Frankykeno said, they just seem to know when it's winter.

As long he seems healthy and active, I think your ok. Remember, they're nocturnal, mine are mostly out at night,after their lights go off.
