Before I came here, I did the same exact thing as you, for 5 years. They seemed fine for a long time! I came here because it seemed that my male was stressed, not getting water although it was available, and they were always coiled tightly around eachother. They would fight over food, too. My male developed a RI infection and stopped eating and shedding. They both just weren't growing like I wanted, either.
After hundreds of dollars, my male is in the original 55 gallon tank (spoiled brat) eating every week, shedding, and growing. My female is in my rack with all the other tubs, again thriving quite nicely.
They may "seem" fine, but they can't talk to you and tell you how things are really going. They only way you'll know is when they can pysically show you, like when they get sick or even worse, die.
I am so happy and forever gratefuls that I came here as they saved my snake's life. These people will help you with any questions you may have, and make you a snakie expert!
