I don't think there have been anywhere near enough generations of captive breeding to make snakes behave any differently than they would in the wild. They just come with a multitude of different "snakeonalities." Some will be aggressive feeders that want to eat that rat no matter how many times they have to attempt to bring it down....and others may seem more lazy to strike once and if they miss they simply go about what they were doing in the first place...which is usually napping. LOL
