Quick Feeding Question
Hi all. Yesterday I fed my BP a fuzzy. It's used to eating rat pups (from what the origional owner said) But he wouldnt take the pup. He did eat the fuzzy rather quickly though. He's a cuddly little guy and I can hold him and walk around, but today, when I wiggled my fingers infront of the glass he seemed more interested than usual, he even strated to coil up as if to strike. Is it possible that after almost 3 weeks of no eating, the fuzzy was just an appetizer for Stewie. Maybe he's hungrier now?
Should I feed him again or wait a week anyways?

Re: Quick Feeding Question
I would wait the week. If you get him on a consistent schedule of smallish-sized meals once every week, he is less likely to start skipping meals. If he's hungry today, he'll definitely be hungry come next feeding day. LOL
It may take him awhile to grow accustomed to the schedule. If he hadn't eaten in a few weeks, it seems likely to me that the fuzzy he ate yesterday re-awakened his appetite...and instincts tell him to hunt for any available food. So he may act hungry, even though he will be perfectly fine waiting a few more days for his next meal.

Wait a week. You might try two fuzzies next week, or one pup to see if he's got his feeding mojo going again. Good luck!

Sweet. Thanks for the quick reply. Iguess he'll just have to wait, beging will get him nowhere. You think I should stick with the uzzies or move back to rat pups? The circumference of his largest part is about as nig as a rat pup, but I enticed his apetite with a fuzzy.
