Brings up a good point. When to say when with what look like slugs? Do you mean that you have had eggs that candled as slugs hatch snakes?

Oh yeah ... I've had eggs that I thought didn't have a prayer in the world hatch perfectly healthy babies ... I stopped tossing slugs a long time ago.
Some are real obvious, but I give them a shot anyway.

They were both bred by my lemon pastel. That makes three big clutches sired by him, with one more on the way!!

Thanks all for the kind words. Getting a bunch of good eggs makes all the time and effort well worth it. As far as incubating slugs...hmmm, I've never tried it with the obvious slugs, but I've had a few corn snake eggs that looked pretty bad go full term, so ya never know.
