    how deep should it be?

    i'm bringing home 20 mice tomorrow to fatten them up and get them all healthy to feed to dexter and my new little drake as well...

    how deep should the rubbermaid container be? overall dimensions?

    I would say minimum 6 inches. 8-12 is good. For 20 mice I would grab a few of the 58 quart ones from walmart, $4.98 each or so. Do you just plan on melting air holes? How are you planning on feeding and watering them?

    Mice really don't need very much depth. I have a homemade rack with cat litter pans that are 4-5 inches deep and they do very well in them.

    Yeah, I like to overestimate rather than get accused of cruelty . I dont do mice so I was guesstimating at 6"
