    big humidity problem

    i have a problem keeping the humidity in my tanks and am now seeing a bit of kinda denting in the snakes eye i dont have enough cash to get a uth i have one but im not so shure it will be warm enough what should i do? are there any alternitives to hold in that damn humidity?

    Check the do it yourself thread for a homemade humidifier. It worked for me.

    or you could get a small room humidifier for 20 bucks and keep the area the cage is in more humid.

    Do you have an acurite thermometer/humidity gage?? You can get one from Wal-Mart for about $12. A quick cheap fix to hold in humidity for a glass tank is to mist the cage and cover most of the top with plastic wrap until you can get the proper equipment. Giving your snake a soak for about 10 min every day will help too.
