If I had to guess... I'd say there's maybe 4 or 5 of us in AZ... and most of us are new (within the last year or so) to the hobby... so I doubt that anyone has been... but I'll say if they're having it in an Elk's lodge, it probably won't be very large. Let us know if you get around to going though.

    Re: AZ Reptile Expo

Yeah, I have to just repeat what Ken said. I'm new to the herp hobby in this area and have only been to the one show in Phoenix last month. That one was pretty small compared to others I have been to out east. I don't know if you made it to the Phoenix show, but there was only one vendor who specialized in bp's...everyone else who had only had a couple along with all their other herps, as if bp's were an afterthought to their collections. LOL

I don't know if the Tempe show will be the same, but I imagine it will be pretty close. Still...since you already live as close as you do, I'm sure it'll be worth the trip for you. I didn't regret driving all the way to Phoenix for the last one.

One of the vedors at the Phoenix show told me there is a much bigger, annual show held in Tucson in the fall...but since the date/location hadn't been finalized yet, she couldn't provide any specific information. I'm still watching out for that one.

Yeah, the Tucson show last year was, from what I heard, very complete. I'll be going to the next one. It was at Grant/I-10 at the Roadway Inn... and I think that's the place its going to be again this year, Judy. It was in September last year.... didn't quite make it to the show, but I think Coyotemoon did..

Yeah, I was at the last show and I think the best part was that animal they had, it looked like a kangeroo but it wasnt. But yeah, me and my cousin are deffently planning on making it. Ill probably get another cage, last time I got a nice 40 gallon really cheap and am planning on a 60 gallon or higher.

    Ya mean this little sheila?

She's a wallaby, which is a small species of kangaroo. That's my daughter with her. She got to hold the leash and walk her (hop her? LOL) all over the place. Had a blast.
