    Enchi Pastel?

Enchi Pastel, what is the reason this Pastel cost so much?

I've seen them being sold from $10K-$12K and to be honest some of the specimens I've seen being sold for these prices, don't seem that nice!
I've seen much cleaner, lighter, brighter Pastels for 10X's less.

    Am I missing something here...
    A little education please.

Is the demand for this Pastel so high, why? IMO, there are a lot nicer Pastels out there at 1/10 the price tag? Why the high price tag on this Pastel?

There has to be something else behind it...

it is rare, not too many out there compared to other morphs. alot of the combo and crosses are yet to come!

who knows what it may or may not produce?

    Re: Enchi Pastel?

Is it that much different to the other Pastel lines?

Because I've seen some nice Enchi specimens, but others that just don't seem much different than a $500-$600 Pastel on KS.

    Re: Enchi Pastel?

Enchi is a whole different ball of wax ... about as close to a "pastel" as a cinnamon pastel.

    Re: Enchi Pastel?

they aren't really a pastel as you and i know them. from what i see they have more of a carmal look too them with a lot of fading and plushing going on. they are really a complete new morph.

I agree ... having been lucky enough to get the opportunity to see both hatchling and adult Enchis, this is certainly a case where pictures don't do the justice ... they have a completely different "look" to them that's hard to see in pics ... similar to how different a woma ball is to banded/reduced ball.
