I got my RTB!!!
I got the female RTB today. I haven't probed her yet to be sure but I got her. The guy fed her right before he picked her up and brought her to me. She looks to be about 5' long. He said she was ok before he fed her and afterwards she took a shot at him. You guys know me, and how I love a challenge. She looks to be in good health. I got her for $40. I should be getting the one from Clay in a week or so it is starting to warm up here. I am glad he is already paid for.
I would also like some opinions on another pet. The Minot Zoo wants me to take on thier 4' male Iguana. The guy told me he might need a little work. Which means he is probably mean. I will have pictures up of the RTB tonight or tomorrow for you all.
Mom is so jealous of me right now. I think I have more pets that she does not counting fish.

Re: I got my RTB!!!
Mom I double checked her saddles she is a BCI. Which means she wont get as big as the BCC. I'll be on the look out for a baby BCC for you. She has the rounded saddles. I think I got that all right.

Re: I got my RTB!!!
Well....saddles alone aren't an absolute indicator of BCI or BCC. BCI can have widow's peaks...and BCC can have the concave saddles. It most likely IS a BCI, I'm just saying you shouldn't let saddle pattern by your only guide.

To elaborate on this topic that Judy brought up;
I think you all may want to read this... go to this site: http://crinaustin.home.att.net/
Once there, go to DOWNLOADS by clicking on the link inside the yellow box at the left.
Download either the PDF or WORD document under the section titled "BOA CONSTRICTOR DOCUMENT".
*This document may answer alot of questions regarding being able to tell the difference between some of the many kinds of boas out there.
Also, if you do not have a program to view either document, scroll farther down the page to the box with the title "DOCUMENT VIEWERS". There you will find what you may need to open whichever Boa Constrictor Document you decided on downloading.
Hope this helps... warning, its got lots and lots of info, this may be worth printing out for those of you who keep stuff like this to refer to at a later date. There may come a time that you may not find it online anymore, so take advantage of this info while you can.

RTB will be my next snake. Not for awhile though. Need to focus on my current babies.
