Maybe he just doesn't like the mice??

This is the second week in a row Otis hasn't eaten and even though he's a bit pickey, this is the first time in a while I've had trouble getting him to eat =( He'll show interest, and even strike at it, but won't eat it! And I always make sure to heat them back up at least twice when they've gotten to room temp in case they're just not warm enough, but still nothing. I've been doing everything the same, with the exception of using those Lysol wipes to clean his stuff. Could this be bothering him somehow?? I've been really careful to throughly rinse everything, but maybe he can still smell it or something. I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions, I had finally gotten him to where he was feeding regularly and now I'm really worried about him ;__; Thanks

If he is striking, but not holding on and coiling, this is most likely a defensive strike, not a feeding response, so maybe he feels threatened by something. I have a few girls that will strike defensively at prey if I'm around, but eat fine once I leave them alone with their food. If using those wipes are the only thing that you've changed husbandry-wise lately, maybe try not using them for a couple weeks, and try feeding again. Don't worry too much about him not eating right now, as it has only been a couple weeks. If he ate well before, he will eat well again, as long as all his other needs are met. Hope this helps.
