The other benefit is that you'll establish a relationship with a vet or vet office in case something serious does come up. There's nothing worse than needing help in an emergency and not knowing where to go or who to trust.

... but I have to ask. Should you have "check ups" for your BP? Like once a year or something take her to a herp just to get a check up even if there is nothing visibly wrong?
