"Child eating snake", and they're referring to a regular burm. What amazes me is how the catchphrase on this article got passed around so much. Talk about an uphill ongoing battle for this hobby...

If a child ate a snake, then what's stopping the child from eating other animals? I don't think its that big of a deal. Apparently the parents can't teach the kid to eat normal food, it's the parents problem.

I'm sure if they had a cat, he would have ate the cat as well....

-Twitch.- I HATE articles like that. Whether it's true or not, people need to take into consideration WHY a snake would actually EAT a child. Starvation? Maltreatment? The child was trying to hurt it?

Meh. I've had this discussion for the past week because I've been flaunting Ody by way of pictures, (I'd never bring him to school for more than hour!) and have to explain a hundred times over that people are the reason snakes can potentially be dangerous. Poor care, horrid conditions and the exploitation of huge snakes are just a few reasons why people fear and even hate them. "A good snake is a dead snake" disgusts me. Films and overdramatization of these beautiful predators is what gives them such a bad, unworthy rap.
