Just my thoughts....but....if you want a "cuddly" snake, then yes, you have to handle them from time to time and try to maintain consistent schedules. But strictly from the snake's point of view, the lack of handling should not be considered "neglect." They tolerate our interaction and play time...but they certainly don't need it.


So long as the rodents keep coming...the water is fresh...the cage is clean...and the environment is sound....that's a content snake. The rest is just gravy for us keepers.
