Re: Please help
i personally would make an appt with the vet. hopefully some more experienced people will chime in on this.
p.s. and maybe try some of that wound healer you can get at petco or petsmart, maybe there will be some comments on this.

If it didn't break the skin (no blood), you have nothing to worry about.

he definantley shouldnt die unless he gets an infection. if it starts getting worse looking then its time for a vet visit.

Re: Please help
My thoughts... Instead of feeding the larger sized mice/rats I am going to stick with the rat "hoppers" forever and just feed more in quantity. The reason being... why take the chance of having them bite the snake. I will just feed two hoppers instead of a small/medium rat. But that is just my two cents. Also, think of prekilled f/t. As for the bite, keep an eye out... an overprotective mommy/daddy would to to the vet, which is a good thing! But you can also wait... then again you did say you saw puss... not good.

Re: Please help
No big deal if it didn't break the skin. One shed will fix the problem for sure. If you really still feel uncertain, applying a small amount of triple-antibiotic ointment couldn't hurt.
