New Set Up-Help Plz Too..

I'm not sure if i post this in the Cageing Fourm or here..

I just got my order from Justcage Thx Matt I will be order one more from you too whenever I'm ready to get a bp female... but anyway I'm new to this set up and I don't know how to set it up can u guys help me plz..I'm like looking at it like ????? lol... I got the Combo deal.. oh and do I put hold on the side of the tub so it can get air? I'm takein Cloud out of the 20 gal and I'm putin Cloud in the new set up and going to put my Leopard Gecko in the 20 gal..

I hope I can help. First, put some holes in the tub using a drill or a soldering iron. A soldering iron is preferred because a drill can sometimes crack the tub. Start off with just a few holes, maybe one every two inches on each side, you can always add more later. Use the foil tape to secure the Flexwatt to the bottom of the tub. Pick a side so the Flexwatt is not in the middle as your snake would appreciate warm and cool sides. Plug the Flexwatt into the Johnson thermostat, then the thermostat into an outlet. Place the probe of the Johnson in your tub. You can either put the probe through a hole, or drape it over the side. However if you drape it over the side, it might rub against the lid and eventually wear a hole in it. It's up to you as to where you want to put the probe, either in a hide, on the bottom of the tub under the substrate, etc. After you get it set up, set the thermostat and take temperature readings to make sure your temps are where you want them (80-82 cool, 90-92 warm).

Place snake in cage.

Close lid.

ok do I put the Flexwatt inside or outside of tub?

Flexwatt goes on the outside.. set it underneath the tub and attach it with foil tape.
