Just hanging out!
My fiance works for a company that provides services of some sort (guys on ropes, dangerous type stuff) to construction, engineering, oil rigs around the world. (sounds like i have no clue and I dont!). Here is a pic she just sent me of one of the guys hanging out.

Hanging from the Sky Pod overlooking Rogers Centre Stadium.

If ya go for that type of thing. I like to stay right here on the ground.

Wow....seems like a thrilling job! I suppose you'd get used to the sensation of being up that high all the time....and then you're just left with the harness digging into your groin while you're trying to change lightbulbs or something! LOL

Re: Just hanging out!
Not for me! I went Parasailing at 800 feet and almost freaked.
I use to bungee at about 300-400 feet but I was a whole lot younger and intoxicated most of the time
Cool job if ya have the ummm... you know .... for it.

I used to rock climb a bit back when I was in better shape. Once you learn to trust the ropes and protection, It's pretty cool to be suspended up high. Granted though, I don't think I ever climbed or rappeled down anything higher than about 100 feet or so.

The Skypod is 1800Ft. Now of course I can't say how close to the top he is.

Re: Just hanging out!
Okay how bad is my fear of heights! That picture makes me dizzy and feeling all wierdy scared....no help for me that way....that sort of job would kill me dead! I can't even contemplate the top bunk of my boy's bed and I once paid good money to go up the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario and then couldn't look out the flipping big viewing windows. Blech! Heights are not my friend!
