    What a beautiful sound!

I still love the sound of "thunk" "thunk" "thunk" as ball python after another captures it's prey on feeding day!

And little Ms. Pandora - she finished her first mouse and was looking down at me (I'm sitting on the floor in front of other tubs opening them to drop in mice) and is like "Helllloooooooo, Laaaadddyyyy!!! I'm ready for another one!!!!"

She sort of scared me! She's a very aggressive eater. I had to wait for her to go back into her hide (she's in a small 15 quart tub) for fear that she'd snatch the mouse in mid-air! LOL

And then when she was done with that one, she's looking at me going "Heeeeellllloooooo, Laaaaaddddyyyy!!!! If anyone else doesn't eat their second - I'm absolutely STARVING!" I told her to tuck her little chubster self back into her hide and take a nap! LOL

And Ms. Skye, bless her heart - she constricted her mouse in the water dish and didn't know how to get it out of the water. I sort of took the lid of her enclosure to block her from striking at me whilst I fished it out of the water and laid it on the ground for her (I think she was appreciative as she snarfed it down! LOL)

One sole survivor mouse (that Pandora would have gladly taken off my hands if I'd given it to her) who gets the mousey condo all to himself tonight until I get more tomorrow.

    Re: What a beautiful sound!

Oh my! Who woulda thunk it? Was changing water out today for all the "kids" and I swear these guys look HUGE. Three of them helped themselves to two medium mice. Anyone who claims that rats are "better" than mice haven't seen my mousers! LOL

However, little Echo has not pooped in about a month and she's looking like it's getting rather painful for her. I think I may give her a short soak tomorrow to "move things along" for her. I'm scared to hold her, because I'm afraid she's going to explode any minute now!

I'm wondering now if these mice were filled with helium or something with the way these girls ballooned out! Not complaining mind you, just astonished in comparison with my Kashmire, who is such a dainty little eater! LOL

Cleo hasn't pooped in a month either...I think she just converts the ENTIRE mouse into snake. Weighed in at 200gms this week - yay!
