    Hatchling Rack Questions

As I contemplate the whole breeding process (I've read up tons on colubrid breeding at this point and feel like I have a fair idea of what I'm doing) I need to contemplate racks. Blue Beauties lay about 16 to 18 eggs, some of which usually end up being duds, and the babies are born at around 16 inches. Any recommendations for good racks that they won't outgrow overnight or escape?

While I'm at it, any website host recommendations for a buisness website, should I get so organized? (which I most certainly hope to!) Or warnings of any to avoid?

There's plenty of time, slow and steady is how I try to do these things, just trying to get it all sorted. Thanks!

I would highly recommend TekWarren's hosting... He's a member on this site, and it's a great price and comes with more than you'd get elsewhere.

Send him a PM, or somethin...

Sorry, can't help TOO much on the rack advice, but Boaphile has shoebox racks that have 20 or 40 tubs in them... alternatively, you could go with a slightly larger rack that holds 12 bigger tubs.... (in case you can sell 6-10 of them while still in the shoeboxes, and need bigger tubs for the holdbacks..

Your site looks gorgeous, I'll def ask him

And good advice on the rack... Hmm.. I don't plan on really keeping too many holdbacks till we have a bigger or two bedroom place. But that's still an excellent suggestion.. Lots of homework for me!

    Re: Hatchling Rack Questions

Sheree consider the animal plastics Iris 375 racks. They can take two shoeboxes on a shelf, OR one bigger boot box.. so a small 375 rack can hold 8 shoe boxes or 4 boot boxes (or any combination)

so.. as the babies grow (and some are sold) they can go into the bigger boot boxes without you having to buy a bigger rack
