Hmm, yeah we owe the city tax money, all b/c my hubby works in another city, so they take city tax for his city of employment, but not the city we live in... screwy Ohio I tell ya! And they say you get credit for paying tax in another city toward your tax in the city you live..but they are full of it, you still end up in the "I owe" situation.

Funny thing is, here in Ohio, you pay your standard taxes (fed and state), but then you pay city tax for the place you work, and the place you live (if different), plus you end up paying a separate school tax for both places in the end (if work and home city is different). This is the first place I have ever lived that the schools have thier own tax separate from the city tax.... and yet, my daughter goes to school in another "town" cause my local schools suck and are pretty run down.
